Merricks v Mastercard
3 February 2025
We have been given permission to intervene in the settlement approval application in the case of Merricks v Mastercard.
The Access to Justice Foundation has been given permission to intervene in the settlement approval application in the case of Merricks v Mastercard. Our intervention aims to assist the tribunal in understanding how our role as the prescribed charity under the Competition Act enables us to make effective use of any undistributed damages remaining once the distribution of the settlement monies to the class has taken place.
We are extremely grateful to Gerard Rothschild of Brick Court Chambers who is kindly representing us pro bono in this matter.
