In collaboration with our partners at the LawWorks & Attorney General Student Pro Bono Awards 2022, it is our pleasure to announce that nominations for this year’s Access to Justice Foundation Award are now open!

The Foundation is proud to celebrate the outstanding contributions of students and academics who strive to promote access to justice. Our Award both recognises and commends the vital efforts made by future legal professionals and those who train them to support free legal advice agencies that bring real change to the lives of thousands of people up and down the country.

We welcome nominations from law students of various kinds from undergraduates, post graduates, CILEX, to trainee costs lawyers and legal apprentices or those who are on vocational placements, as well as bodies who provide legal education. Nominees should include individuals who have gone to significant lengths to promote access to justice.

We are delighted to announce that this year’s nominees will be judged by Access to Justice Foundation Trustee, Simon Davis, Past President of the Law Society of England and Wales.

This year’s judge, Simon Davis said:

“Rights are mere dust if there is no way to enforce them. Access to justice for all is the mark of an inclusive nation. It is of great importance that we recognise and commend those who work towards making this a reality here in the UK, and as the judge of this year’s Access to Justice Foundation Award, I am honoured to be a part of this process.”
