Our Chair of Trustees moves on to the High Court
6 November 2025
After acting as a trustee for 4 years our Chair of trustees is moving in to a new role.
We’re delighted that our Chair of Trustees, Gavin Mansfield has been appointed as a High Court Judge. Sadly, this means he has had to step down from our board.
Gavin shared
It has been a privilege to serve as Chair of the Access to Justice Foundation. Over the past years, I’ve witnessed the extraordinary dedication of our team and partners in championing access to legal support for those most in need. I am proud of the progress we’ve made in strengthening advice services and developing new ways of funding advice. As I step down, I remain deeply committed to the Foundation’s mission and confident in its continued impact under new leadership.
Trustees have appointed Andrew Seager, our vice Chair, as interim Chair of the board.
An open recruitment process for our new permanent Chair will commence early in 2026.
