Fundraise for us
Every year, people bake, quiz, climb, walk, bus, cycle, auction, raffle, run, and rock out to raise thousands of pounds for access to justice. These funds support free legal advice services working in our local communities to help those most in need.
Our signature events
By organising a legal walk, hosting a bake sale or quiz night, or taking on a personal challenge directly supports the advice services that keep families in their homes, people in their jobs, and communities together.
Explore our events, create your own fundraising adventure, and help ensure everyone has access to the legal support they deserve.
We support sponsored local Legal Walks across the UK, providing a perfect opportunity to step away from the office and bring together local legal networks, while doing something meaningful for your community.
Whether you’re walking through historic legal districts, local parks, or river routes, legal walks create a relaxed environment for legal professionals to meet up, share experiences, and contribute to a cause that matters to everyone in the profession.
Show off your baking skills and support a great cause. The Great Legal Bake is held annually during Pro Bono Week, bringing together people across the legal profession and beyond to raise funds through delicious bake sales.
Participation is as easy as pie! Just register online to receive a bake pack with everything you need to organise and promote your bake sale. The Great Legal Bake is organised by our colleagues at the London Legal Support Trust.
Put your general knowledge to the test with our fun quiz nights. This is a pub-style quiz featuring general knowledge questions (not legal trivia), with picture rounds, news-based questions, and Q&A written by a professional TV quiz writer!
You can run it in a local pub, office, university, or even online. We provide the quiz questions, and you compete for top scores and top fundraising prizes. The Great Legal Quiz is organised by our colleagues at the London Legal Support Trust.
Feeling creative? The possibilities are endless when it comes to fundraising for access to justice. Here are ideas that have worked for others:
- Endurance events – from marathons to long distance cycling
- Virtual auctions – auction off items or experiences online
- Talent shows – showcase hidden talents among friends and colleagues

Fundraising in action: Jonathan’s bus journey
Jonathan turned a work trip into a fundraising adventure. He travelled from the Bank of England in Threadneedle Street to Leeds using only local buses – 15 buses over 19 hours, raising over £2,000. His journey showed how our funding reaches communities everywhere, and proved that creative fundraising can be both fun and deeply meaningful.
