How we engage in Scotland

The Access to Justice Foundation Scotland is a locally registered charity, with a committee led by Rebecca Samaras (chair), helped by Graeme McWilliams (committee member/working group chair).

Grants we've made in Scotland

To date events in Scotland, teamed with other strategic development work, have raised nearly £1 million which has been distributed through 53 grants to support the provision of vital legal advice to individuals and communities most in need throughout Scotland. Local legal advice charity grantees include:

  • Scottish Child Law Centre
  • Govan Law Centre
  • Community Law Advice Network – Clan Childlaw
  • Castlemilk Law and Money Advice Centre
  • JustRight Scotland
  • Legal Services Agency
  • Ethnic Minorities Law Centre

Support access to justice in Scotland!

One of the best ways to get involved is to join one of our planned 2023 legal walks. You can read more about our Scottish legal walks here and here.

All funds raised in Scotland will be granted out to Scottish advice charities!

Upcoming legal walks

Join one of our upcoming legal walks to help fundraise and increase awareness of access to justice in Scotland!
