Legal
Walks

If you would like to get involved in taking part or helping to organise an event in your area please contact events@atjf.org.uk.

Whether walking, running, cycling or baking (or perhaps just eating?) cakes is your thing we have an event for everyone.

We want our supporters to have fun whilst raising much needed funds for free legal advice agencies and it is a great way of meeting new contacts too!

Bakes &
Quizzes

If you would like to get involved in taking part or helping to organise an event in your area please contact events@atjf.org.uk.

Show off your baking skills along with your staff, clients, students, friends or family. Flavoursome fundraising ideas include bake sales and competitions.

Give your brain a stretch and take part in this nationwide quiz as part of National Pro Bono Week. We supply the questions (not law specific) and you organise the quiz in your local pub, office or just at home!

Go the Extra Mile for Justice

We need your help to raise vital funds for free legal advice charities who support vulnerable people throughout the UK with our fun, virtual fundraising challenge: Go the Extra Mile for Justice.

In place of our 2020 regional legal walks (outside London and the South East), we’re asking as many of you as possible to take up your own sponsored fundraising challenge to raise £10 per mile for free legal advice services in your region.

It doesn’t matter if you are running, skipping, cycling, walking, or even hopping dressed as a kangaroo, sign up today!

Together our target is to complete 20,000 miles by the end of 2020.

The Regional Legal Walks

Our regional sponsored walks are organised by local committees, and we encourage you to invite friends and colleagues to participate.

The walks range from 5-10K and are an excellent means  fundraising, meeting up with colleagues, friends and peers, as well as enjoying the sights of your local area.

We were delighted to see the return of our walks in 2021. A full schedule of events is being prepared for 2022, starting on Monday 9th May in Chelmsford.

Sign up to our mailing list to receive updates & news of upcoming events.

Go the Extra Mile for Justice

Our Go the Extra Mile for Justice challenge is open to anyone who would like to take on their own fundraising challenge and raise money for the Access to Justice Foundation.

The event or activity is up to you and could be anything from an ultra-marathon, a 3 mile walk, or a sponsored silence.  We can help to set up fundraising pages and provide help & fundraising guidance.

Go the Extra Mile for Justice is a flexible way to take on a fundraising  challenge tailored to you, whilst raising vital funds for access to justice services.

What will your challenge be?

The Great Legal Bake

Working from home meant that having any kind of bake sale, was a challenge – no customers, no sale. Although we hear that lots of our supporters took the time to develop new baking skills that they are keen to showcase in 2022 – we can’t wait.

As we all start to return to work, that desire for some iced buns, banana bread and carrot cake returns

How better to celebrate than by organising a bake sale – and associated competition!

Raising funds, feeding friends and demonstrating the baking skills developed during lockdown – and possibly winning a prize!

The Great Legal Quiz

The annual Great Legal Quiz is an opportunity to end the year in the company of friends and colleagues, pitting your wits against each other whilst raising funds to support access to justice initiatives.

Organised by volunteer groups across the UK< the Great Legal Quiz is challenging and fun in equal measure.

We provide the questions (rest assured they are not legal-themed), just assign a host and get your friends, families and colleagues involved for a night of fun-filled trivia and friendly competition!
