Like so many others, we have been horrified by the racist violence that has spread across the country over the past week. We know that advice charities we work closely with are being targeted, and that colleagues carrying out crucial work to uphold the rights of marginalised people are being made to feel unsafe in their own communities. This is completely unacceptable. 

As a funder of social justice, we will continue with our unwavering commitment to improve access to justice for those who are marginalised and we stand in support of our colleagues in frontline advice agencies who are being targeted by racist extremists. 

For charities we are funding, we have been in touch to let you know that if you need to make any changes in the light of this criminal activity, then we are fully supportive of this. We know that the umbrella bodies are working closely with their members to provide advice and assistance.
